Comfortable introduction to Newton Running
The Aha II is my first introduction to Newton Running. I have been remarkably pleased with the shoe, light and yet surprisingly stable for a mid foot striker. The shoe is quite responsive and have found that they are a pleasure to run. True to size (same size in Brooks and Adidas), with nice room in the toe box. The heel can be a little roomy but easy to secure with a lace lock tie. Quite durable so far without any signs of excessive wear after 150 + miles.

Great shoe for moving to Newtons
I have never worn Newtons before, and I'm not an elite runner of any kind. Also, I've always bought the same type of shoes, and the one time that I switched, I injured myself, so I am very wary of trying different shoes. But the Aha has been a great shoe for me. I have had both the Aha I and Aha II. Both have been excellent. My Aha I were extremely durable and lasted for as long as I wore them (which was longer than I should have!). I love how lightweight these shoes are, and the POP 3 of the Aha is just right for the transition to the POP platform. It's not too much and not too little. I really recommend the Aha for a runner who is at a higher level than casual, but also not a serious competitor.

best newton shoe there is. I"m always looking for a lite shoe. better then any nike shoe that that I have worn. Better than the Kinvara by saucony. Just fills good on my feet. Been running for 37 years. I like the 6 mm heel drop. I STILL use the altra 2.5 for my long races, but I like the AHA for daily runs.

Men's Aha II revidw
I discovered Newton's running shoes about 3 years ago after coming off a total knee replacement surgery. I have never been more please with a running shoe. This shoe is awesome, very light weight and ideal for a person returning to running. I'm not the runner I use to be but at least these shoes allow me to do what I love and that's running. I totally swear by Newton's. Running Shoes. Great Company.

Gym and Treadmill
I run mostly in the Distance and Gravity but needed a shoe that I could comfortably workout in the gym without wearing down my usual trainers. For Newton runners this is the shoe. Nothing against their other shoes but the Pop 1 and 2s don't feel the best while lifting lower body. The Pop 3 feels good to squat, dead-lift and complete a full body workout in without the lugs underneath the forefoot. I also run on the treadmill with these for roughly 10 miles a week and they work just as well there. As far as a daily runner I do not have the answer but for gyms and light treadmill work while still rocking the Newton brand, these are the move.

Better Newton Options Available
These are decent shoes but definitely not Newton's best shoe. I've tried at least half a dozen other Newton models and these would rank in the middle. I wish this model had more padding for ankles.
