GREEN FEATURES
Newton is fully aware of the Laws of Conservation of Energy: energy can be neither created nor destroyed. It can only change from one form to another. Newton has applied these thoughts to modern day realization of our natural resources and how we can effect the environment through recycling and giving back both environmentally and socially.
We are starting with several materials used in the production of the shoes.
- The use of ECOPET Recycled products.
- Recycled yarn shoe laces.
- Recycled yarn in the webbing strip.
- A minimum of 10% recycled rubber in the outer sole of the shoes.
We have eliminated hangtags that highlight special, high tech materials provided to us by a number of vendors for production. This eliminates the paper and ink that is usually never read and often discarded.
The shoebox is made of 100% post consumer recycled material. Please reuse or recycle. We are also stuffing the shoes with a pair of socks and shoe bag that is reusable.
