Best $100 I Ever Spent on Shoes!!!
I have been suffering from Morton's Neuroma for a couple years now and just really figured out what it was. It had gotten so bad I was having trouble walking daily. I am a personal trainer and group fitness instructor so my job is very physical. I took a chance because of the 30 day guarantee and I'm so glad I did! No more pain when I'm wearing these shoes (I have them in purple) and I can run (just did a 5K in them), dance (teach Zumba) and they feel great for my bodybuilding workouts! Please make more types of shoes or insoles!! I am so glad I found these! I will be ordering more and my husband just ordered his first pair! Some of my clients plan to order also!

Don't let the description fool you!
These are more than just an all-around shoe for the casual runner. For the last 16 weeks I've been training to runny first Boston marathon and I have not had any issues with this style. Previously I developed some feet issues but not with the AHA II! They are so comfortable and keep my feet very happy! Don't take this style away!

attractive shoe for casual running and fitness
As the owner of a Newton Retail partner store, I pretty much wear Newtons every single day, all day long. I bought these because they are a good neutral color that goes with everything. I dont really run much in the Aha, but appreciate its soft cushioned feel. Its a nice shoe to wear casually and for fitness classes.

Continuous satisfaction
This is my second pair of AHA's, after purchasing and wearing two pairs of Newton Energy shoes. This shoe (with my orthodics) really works for me. I need a neutral shoe and this is my go to-- time and time again!

Re-training foot strike
I purchased these shoes after my 3rd marathon because I was beginning to experience ITBS and had patellar tracking issues due to poor foot strike and long strides. Basically, I was looking for a shoe that would help me to re-train my foot strike and stride, while also strengthening my feet. So far, I think these are doing an excellent job! I like the low(er) heel-toe drop, and I can definitely feel when I'm making a solid forefoot strike versus a heel strike. My knees are thanking me! ITBS is not nearly as bad, either. At first the shoes felt a little weird because the upper is so soft; it feels like there is nothing holding my foot in place. But that doesn't seem to be a problem. The only issue that I have experience is that I get a blister on my left foot, right at the big toe phalange-metatarsal joint. I'm not sure what is causing this, but I have never developed blisters with any other shoes. One other plus that I need to mention is that I have a larger toe box (somewhere in between "average" and "wide"), and these shoes provide ample space in the toe box (so, I don't think that's the reason for the blistering).
All in all, I would recommend these to someone trying to develop a forefoot strike and/or shorter stride.

Great for every day fitness!
The Aha II is my first pair of Pop 1 Newtons, and I think they are great. I'm used to running in the Kismet and Fate, so I do notice a difference in my running. There isn't as much bounce, but still plenty of cushioning and stability. I love them for a day on the gym with light running or for sightseeing in a new city.

Lightweight
The Women's Aha 11 fits well, just wish it had a little bit more cushion. It's very light weight and has good grip control. The style and color are artistic and fun.
