Women's Distance V

* Required Fields

This is the Newton that started the revolution. The Distance V is a universal platform racer that is lightning fast and wickedly light for both neutral and stability runners. This dynamically propulsive racer offers a tighter-tuned trampoline lug membrane than compared to the Gravity V or Motion V for greater responsiveness and power (P.O.P 1+). The new seamless upper offers higher ventilation and better conformity to the foot. The new ice lugs and full flex zone accommodates the splay of the foot at the propulsion stage of the gait. Revolutionize your run with the new Distance V.

Permission to FLY!
Over the years, I've worn and loved several Newton running shoes. The forefoot lug took only a few runs to get used to when I first adopted Newton as my go-to favorite. But when I first ran with these Distance Vs--wow--I felt like a kid again. That summertime-dashing-out-the-door-and-running-running-just-for-fun feeling. Encapsulated in shoes. The Distance V is super-light. The lugs are not spongy, they are firmer than the Gravity 5. They truly provide a little lift-off for the forefoot runner. I feel peppy and turbo-charged. And beyond that feeling of secret propulsion, they are also cute--in a fun color (love the bright yellow!). I get compliments on them and asked what brand they are--a lot.

Going the Distance and the accidental PR
I normally run in the Gravity, but this year started changing things up and attempted some speed work. Well this shoe is like not even having a shoe on. Lightweight, responsive (I love the Newton road feel) and protective enough for longer distances. Love the roomy toe box, and true to size shape of this model. They are as fast as they look and have helped me achieve several PR's. The upgrades to the upper materials and the new sole make this shoe a new model in my weekly rotation. Recommend!
