More Cushion, More Energy Return, More PRs
Water resistant and powered by a combo of NRG™ and Hytrel® super foams and XPS+ plating to enhance responsiveness and cushioning, the new limited edition Gravity+ is unquestionably our best work yet.
And like all of our products, it's crafted from the most premium & durable vegan recycled materials that remove 4+ water bottles from the waste chain and formulated to biodegrade 75% faster than standard shoes in landfills.

What Makes Newton Unique?

Advanced Innovation
Powered by NRG+, a large-cell chemically infused foam, the midsole delivers a smooth and responsive ride with outstanding impact absorption and rebound. When combined with the XPS+ plate it produces an amazing amount of cushion that helps you run farther, faster and feel less fatigue.

Evolved Performance
The new XPS+ plating system is precision crafted from PA11 to work in concert with our signature Action Reaction Technology™ to increase reflexion & responsiveness to maximize energy return with every stride

Elevated Comfort
Durable enough for an ultra, comfortable (and stylish) enough for dinner. The Gravity+ AW features a gender shaped adaptive air mesh designed to hold your foot securely and maximize comfort while the water resistance sheds moisture in the worst of conditions without sacrificing breathability or drainage.

What Our Runners Think
Best running shoes ever.
I left a review on a previous line of AW Gravity several months ago, and wanted to followup. Initial impressions were that they were too stiff, but after a much longer break in (compared to my usual Distance shoes), they are excellent in cold weather, and traction is great on ice/snow. Otherwise, on pavement in warmer weather, I prefer the Distance.
I do not really run for fun. I don't necessarily hate it, but I run for my own health and to meet military standards. My last order placed was for both Gravity+All-Weather and Motion 12 (both size 13, and sizing is spot on) [previously wore Nikes], because I was going on active duty orders for 6 months. I prefer the Motion 12 for my foot type and comfort, but the reflectiveness and weather resistance of the Gravity are perfect for use in current physical training uniforms (NOT A GOVERNMENT ENDORSEMENT). I wear these when I know there will be more moisture during training. They are incredibly lightweight and well-aerated. However, I would advise against using in lower temperatures or during PT activities other than running. I wish both models were more durable. The comfort tends to outweigh that, but if you consider you're replacing every 6-7 months, it's not bad. However, if you are doing training other than running, they will wear out much faster. I have had to rotate between models and clip off stray threads. In my opinion, the generous military discount off-sets this, and I will continue to order Newtons over other brands I have used. Pros--lightweight and comfortable; reflective material and well-aerated; repels some moisture. Cons--wears out faster in activities OTHER than running (which is probably the intended purpose, but military users do not always have that choice); my toes get cold sometimes! (Maybe I should wear better socks.)
I have been wearing my Gravity AW sneakers for just over a month now for all of my treadmill and outside walks and runs. They are study, comfortable, and keep my feet warm and dry! The toe box is nice and wide and the lugs are terrific! On top of that, the iridescent color accents are incredible! I get so many compliments on them!!
