Engineered to Make A Difference
Powered by our NRG™ and Hytrel® super foam combo and a high performance XPS+ Pebax® full-foot plate, the new Gravity 12 brings a new level of cushioning and energy return to help you run farther, faster and feel less fatigue.
And constructed of the most durable recycled materials that remove 4+ water bottles from the waste chain and formulated to biodegrade faster than standard shoes, it's crafted for today's run with tomorrow in mind.

What Makes Newton Unique?

Enhanced Cushion
The new midsole formulation of next gen NRG™ and Hytrel® foams combine to deliver outstanding impact absorption and rebound compared to other forms, while improving on the legendary responsiveness and durability the Gravity is known for.

Elevated Comfort
The highly breathable seamless air mesh is designed specifically to the anatomical structure of a man's foot to optimize the interaction between foot and shoe and make you more comfortable, secure, and positioned for the best possible performance. And with the revolutionary new Hytrel super foam footbed to enhance cushioning and responsiveness, you'll be traveling at light speed in unmatched comfort.

Evolved Performance
The XPS+ plating system is a new evolution to our Action Reaction Technology™, the secret sauce powering Newton. Generated by the active movement of the lugs in/out of the midsole, it creates a springy cushioning system that provides a quicker bounce back with less energy loss than typical running shoes.

What Our Runners Think
On their own, these shoes greatly diminished foot pain I was experiencing from a bunion, arthritis in my toe, and sensitive ball of foot. I literally tried four other brands, six other pairs of shoes. I went from feeling pain after four miles, to running 7-8 miles pain free. Then got custom orthotics, which helped even more. Won’t go to other shoes, though, because I still believe the wider toe box and shock absorbing lugs make a huge difference. Also, I don’t think I could wear my orthotics with other shoes. There wouldn’t be enough room for my feet to move comfortably.
I'll be honest: I bought the citron/citron pair because of the color and I had worn Gravity before but they just were a little too hot for my feet in the summertime in Florida. But I bought them anyway and thought "these are my magic shoes!" I run very far to the front of my foot so Gravity and Distance are both great for me. If you are a forefront striker, you can't go wrong with either model. Gravity seems to have a little more spring in the step but I wear Distance more because they are a little more breathable. When I travel to cold-weather races, I'll be so glad to have my Gravities.
Made the switch from Hoka to Newton. While my calves hurt at first, due to the heel drop, they feel light and my feet feel great. No hot spots. The lugs took some adjusting too but I love the support since I’m more of a forefoot runner. Only recommendation would be better colors.
I love my new Gravity 12 - Please do not change a thing. I have been running in Newtons since 2010. The Gravity was changed about 4 years ago and I had to switch to Distance but the new Gravity seems to be back and they are definitely made for me.
I’ve been running with ON for years. In fact one of the first people to buy in the US. After my last 3 orders were messed up and or didn’t come with little to no explanation I went out to find new shoes. I jog between 5-7miles a day on road. I bought from MULTIPLE brands. I randomly came across Newton and will never go back. I haven’t loved a shoe this much since forever and customer service was exceptional!
