What Makes Newton Unique?

Level Platform

Over time, many shoe designs have become thicker and heavier with greater heel heights. Newtons put you in a more natural position with lower heel to toe drops that will help you move better, happier and healthier. The Fusion is tuned for maximum versatility in performance or leisure.

Action-Reaction Technology and Cushioning

The secret to Newtons is our patented Action-Reaction Technology, it creates a responsive trampoline-like cushioning system that absorbs more impact and loses less energy than traditional foam shoes. The Fusion's technology package is tuned to maximize comfort and performance for movement in all directions.

Most comfortable pair of shoes I’ve ever owned

I am not a huge runner but I train baseball and softball athletes all day long and train in them myself. I have bad plantar fasciitis in both feet and these shoes have made a world of difference!

A wicked design on a wicked shoe.

This is only my second Newton, but after my BOCA AT5s were so excellent to run in, I picked up the Colorado 2020s as a daily shoe. The toe box has extra room, and the shoe feels so light. I have not actually run in them, rather walking and leisure activity. I bought them because I think they look awesome, and it gives me an excuse to talk about Newton- but people really like them. I've never had so many compliments on a pair of shoes before!

I put them on and was sent back to my childhood. First thought was "ooo these look fast, I wonder if they're fast?" So I grabbed my 3yo nephew and challenged him to a race. My Colorado Newtons vs his Cookie Monster Velcro's. Off we went, zooming down the driveway like a runaway mine train rushing around Silverton, we passed the mailbox (or what I thought was the mailbox, it was a blur due to breaking the sound barrier and all) I felt like a majestic mule deer running with the herd, we were racing and going so fast that it seemed like time was standing still, it was as if I was just chilling in a hot spring in Ouray. Finally, we neared the end of the sidewalk at the neighbors driveway. I felt like I was a downhill mountain biker racing down Crested Butte, my feet felt like they were on a cloud floating around Pike's Peak. Sadly, the Colorado's didn't stand a chance to the Cookie Monster Velcro's. it was a glorious defeat. My nephew gave me one of those nods like how the PBR cowboys at Pueblo tip their hat to the bronco, as in to say "I respect you." With that being said, I recommend these shoes like I recommend fly fishing in the Arkansas river.
