CF1 Highlights
Dynamic Cushioning
Run faster and stay fresher thanks to the symmetrical dual midsoles made of our newest PEBA foam—Newtonium-P. Sculpted high enough to maximize cushioning, but low enough to maintain superior responsiveness and ground feel you'll run farther with less effort and leave your old PBs in the dust.
The ART Of Speed
Newton’s proprietary Action Reaction Technology generates energy from the active movement of the lugs in & out of the midsole like a trampoline. The CF1 is powered by a new carbon plate ART™ that is engineered to maximize energy return to let the speed flow naturally from your stride.
Momentum Maximized
One of the secrets to the speed of the CF1 comes from the synthesis of a geometry that encourages momentum and the Action Reaction Technology™ that channels it into thrust to make you feel like you’re running downhill.
What Our Runners Think
I am still in full test mode but so far exactly what I wanted. Be prepared to add an insert with proper arch.
These shoes are absolutely awesome. I decided to use after so many people had commented how fast they were.. instantly I experienced what the hype was all about. I am currently training for long distance however wanted to use these for speedwork... each distance ran I was able to shave minutes off my time and most importantly my feet / legs felt unbelievably light. Very pleased and will get more in the future. Not to mention, super stylish and unique design. Very fresh look.
I have been racing for over 20 years and I have ran in A LOT of shoes. I've been racing in Newton Running shoes since 2014, so it's safe to say I'm a loyalist to the brand.
The CF1s check all of the boxes: light, responsive, stable yet forgiving on the longer runs. I have used them for all distances from 5ks to half marathons, and I'm about to put them to the test for the marathon. My times have improved, my body doesn't feel beat up, and I've received a lot of compliments on their appearance.
They're worth it. Buy them! :)
On my second pair. Not because the first pair worn-out, but this shoe is so good wanted a second for my longer runs .
I was a little reluctant to spring for the Carbon Racer, my first such type shoe. But they've well proved their worth. Been using them mostly for races and I clocked my fastest 5-miler in years in the shoes. They also work great for training runs, especially on hills - lots of spring and forward motion. A sound investment, plus lots of compliments on the bright color!
