What Makes Newton Unique?

Men's Isaac Side View

More Foam, More Fun

Our most cushioned model, the Isaac 2 combines next gen NRG+™ and Hytrel® foams to minimize impact while the sculpted rocker geometry is designed to amplify forward momentum and minimize weight. The result? An amazingly soft but versatile shoe that feels just as great logging long miles as it does wearing around casually.

Men's Isaac Bottom View

Next Level Technology

The Isaac 2 features our innovative Split-Lug Action Reaction Technology™ to maximize rebound for a softer, smoother, more energetic ride. The 8 independent flex-lugs compress into the midsole and spring back like a trampoline, reducing impact and returning energy with each stride.

Men's Isaac Side View

Crafted For Comfort

Crafted using our seamless Adaptive-Fit Air Mesh, the upper molds to the shape of your foot and lets air flow freely. And features like anti-friction lining and multi-positional lacing system create the comfort and security to make it feel like it was built just for you.

Great shoes

I thought they were too spongy at first, but after 100+ miles in them, they've broken in beautifully. I wear them all day, and they've firmed up nicely, with better grip on all surfaces. Very comfortable over 10-mile jog/walks with no posture or toe problems even on mountain hikes, and they're still like new.

My Isaac 2's

Isaac's were my favorites, but now they've succumbed to chasing the Hoka craze, which automatically makes Hoka better than these. The up-turned toe box and the extra thick soles now make climbing fire trails too slippy on dry dirt and sand. That's my experience, at least. They are extremely comfortable, but harder to use. I liked the way they were better. I prefer the Newton Fusion's now. Their lower to the ground and straight-toed.

Issacs 2

I have been running for decades in Issacs. When the original model, the Sir Issac, was discontinued I worried I may not find a comparable running shoe. Then the Issacs 2 appeared. I ordered a pair and to this day I continue to run in Issacs. Newton,s innovative technology and environmental responsibility are great. Just let me know in advance if the Issacs 2 will be discontinued so I can purchase additional pairs.

Newtons have been my shoe for 10+ years. I literally have 8 pair I rotate through right now. I train in them, I walk in them, I everyday in them, Ive even done a few Ironman in them. Ive been wanting to try these new Isaac's style for a while now as the OG Isaac where my first pair. And boy they havent disappointed. No foot fatigue, sturdy fit, look good. Id give 10 stars if I could.
